Matt Skelton - Head PGA Professional 

Matt Skelton became Head PGA Professional at Silkstone 
Golf Club in April 2022. Prior to his appointment, Matt was the Assistant PGA 
Professional at Bradford Golf Club. 
Matt runs a well-stocked shop with all the latest hardware and apparel 
from leading golf brands such as TaylorMade, Ping, Callaway, Under 
Armour, Footjoy and many more.
With the use of Video Analysis and Full Swing Launch Monitor Technology, Matt 
is able to teach players of all ages and abilities, from beginners who have 
never picked up a club, to the more experienced golfers who are looking 
to bring their handicap down.

David Mansell - PGA Professional

David has over 30 years’ experience not only working in the golf industry, but also playing at a high level. He represented Yorkshire as an amateur and won the British Open Qualifying in 2001.
He attended the European Tour School and competed in numerous Professional Golf tours, he’s also represented Silkstone Golf Club throughout his playing career and is a previous course record holder at Silkstone. He was Head Professional at Wakefield Golf Club for many years, holds a PGA Degree and is qualified to teach golf at all levels.

Jason Cupitt – Trainee PGA Professional

Jason started at Silkstone Golf Club in April 2022 and has developed a fantastic repour with our members. He has just commenced his final year of study with the PGA and is well on the road to achieving his qualifications. He started playing golf at 2 years old and has spent a good portion of his life in sports of some kind.
Jason is passionate about coaching and puts particular emphasis on junior coaching as well as short game coaching.
