Are there any detectorists out there?

You may or may not have noticed the orange distance markers in the fairways of the front 9 holes.
These were originally installed as tee markers for the intermediate juniors prior to them moving up to red/green and then yellow markers as they improved.

The club is now looking to have these orange tee markers WHS rated by England Golf so that juniors, academy members and other members joining the club who may be new to golf can submit cards to enable them to obtain an official WHS handicap index.

The trouble is, we cannot find the marker on the 7th hole!! It appears to have become covered by soil/grass over the years. We are therefore appealing to all members to see if anyone has (or they know someone who has) a metal detector that could be used for a couple of hours to try and locate the missing marker.

If anyone can help, please contact me by calling/texting/Whatsapp message on 07515 421356 to arrange a search party!!

Kind regards,
Garry Tindall
