A great way to start the golfing season and support Mr Captain's charity this year, Barnsley Hospice is a local charity run by Barnsley people. 

A 2 from 4 team stableford with a shotgun start followed by an afternoon in the clubhouse watching the Grand National meeting from Aintree, where there will be a bookmaker to take your bets!

Open to all members, including PlayMoreGolf, and their visitors, the entry fee of £80 per team includes a bacon sandwich & tea / coffee before the golf and a hot roast pork sandwich & chips afterwards.

This is a shotgun start competition, and the draw for holes will take place the day before when it will be posted on the website and on the leaderboard in the clubhouse prior to play.

The shotgun tee-off will be at 10:30 to allow players to be back in the clubhouse in plenty of time for the big race.
